Enjoy the musical Across the Universe at the winery on July 13th. Your ticket includes the showing of the movie on our big screen projection system and an epic dinner - all themed to match! The Beatles provide the sonic framework for this musical tale of romance, war and peace. When young British worker Jude (Jim Sturgess) sets sail for the United States in search of his father, he ends up meeting carefree college student Max (Joe Anderson) and his lovely sister, Lucy (Evan Rachel Wood), along with a cast of eccentric characters. As Jude and Lucy fall for each other, their relationship is threatened by the social upheaval that accompanies the Vietnam War. Tonight's dinner menu is - what else? Fish and Chips! It's a British invasion theme for the evening as we enjoy the music of the Beatles coupled with their culinary import - Fish and Chips! Of course we'd be remiss if we didn't add a Texas Twist, so look for traditional fish and chips along side tortillas and shredded cabbage - perfect for making fish tacos! Enjoy the full dining experience beginning at 6pm - everything is provided including a glass of wine. Movie starts at 7pm! Everyone MUST be 21 years of age to attend - NO EXCEPTIONS - ID may be checked. And don't forget, we'll award prizes for the best British Themed Costume as well...
