Household History
Have you ever wondered what it's like to churn cream into butter? Or wash clothes with a washboard? Here's your chance to find out! Try your hand at the tools of everyday life from the past at this family-friendly event. Other activities include making simple beeswax candles and grinding corn with a mano & metate. Activities run from 10am-4pm, and are included with the museum’s regular pay-what-you-want admission. The Museum of the Coastal Bend is located at 2200 East Red River (corner of Red River & Ben Jordan streets) in Victoria. For more info, visit www.museumofthecoastalbend.org.
