Tree Stories: Ali Mignonne and Sherri Mignonne
April 21 - May 29
Early on in life, Sherri Mignonne knew she wanted to pursue her passion for creativity. She began her study of oil painting as a teenager, learning from her grandmother who painted beautiful landscapes for her family & friends. Her early works were primarily paintings of aspen trees & horses, which were her two great passions. Since that time, she has branched into thick oil & acrylic abstracts, finding new & exciting techniques to set her works apart.
Texas native Ali Mignonne comes from a family of gifted Women & the love of painting was passed down to her through the generations, beginning with her great-grandmother. Having a passion for nature & a bent towards fantasy, Ali's works are a mixture of the Earth's wonders & the mind's fancy. She creates quasi-realistic scenes that carry the observer just past the boundaries of reality.
