"The Messenger" Film Screening
Songbird documentary, reception, discussion
“The Messenger” is a documentary about humanity’s impact on songbirds. The Museum of the Coastal Bend is excited to present this film here in South Texas, where hundreds of species of birds migrate through twice each year. Join us at the museum at 5pm for a reception, with remarks by Dr. Susan Heath, Avian Conservation Biologist with the Gulf Coast Bird Observatory. The film screening is at 6:15 at Johnson Symposium on the Victoria College campus (four buildings down from the museum). A panel discussion about songbird solutions follows the film. Admission is free to the public.
