Motivational Speaker, Suzie Humphreys, humorous, award winning Tea Room Style Show Silent Auction, Bake Sale, Creative Tablescapes "Victoria Symphony League was formed in 1979. The purpose of the Victoria Symphony League is to assist the Victoria Symphony Society in promoting and financially supporting the Victoria Symphony Orchestra and supporting symphonic education. Another focus of the Victoria Symphony League is supporting music education for our youth in local and surrounding area schools. By assisting the Victoria Symphony Director of Education with activities and the purchase of special orchestra needs, the Victoria Symphony League supports education. The Victoria Symphony League shows appreciation for the Orchestra members by providing rehearsal refreshments. The Victoria Symphony League hosts an annual fundraiser to raise money for a yearly pledge to the Victoria Symphony Orchestra. This year the Victoria Symphony League will host a luncheon with “tea room” modeling and a nationally known motivational speaker, Suzie Humphreys. The luncheon will be held on September 16,2015, at the Spring Creek Event Center. The luncheon will begin at 11:30 am. An Active member will serve annually as an officer or member of at least one committee. The dues are $35.00 per year. An Encore member is available to those who have served at least two years as an Active member of either the Symphony League or the Symphony Society. Encore level membership dues shall be $150.00 per year. The Victoria Symphony League meets on the fourth Wednesday of the months of August, September, October, January, February, March, April and May.
