"ls The Victoria Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is conducting an Open House and Second Public Hearing to solicit input on the Draft 2045 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP). The MTP is a 25-year, long-range transportation plan which serves as the basic framework for all transportation planning in Victoria County through 2045. The MTP is a guide used to plan for future transportation needs and decide how to prioritize the expenditure of federal, state, and local funds that become available for these projects. The Open House will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2020 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Victoria County Public Health Department- 2805 N. Navarro St, Victoria, TX 77901. This will be a come and go event where attendees can view a poster gallery showcasing the proposed list of transportation projects for Victoria through 2045 and, relevant transportation information such as congestion, safety, and growth trends. The ultimate goal of the Open House is to gather community feedback on the Draft 2045 MTP and kick-off the 30-day public comment and review period for the plan.
