Yoakum Heritage Museum presents It's Annual Themed Tree Forest

 You are invited to join in for this years Themed Tree Forest! Each room of the museum will feature a different fantasy theme. Experience the grandeur of such regal species as swan, unicorn, or white deer. Frolic with fairies and "whimsical Elves" before you travel through "Gingerbread Junction" on your way to the "White Woodlands". We will also feature "Angels, Jewels of Simpson", a mammoth "Cross Collection" and a Breathtaking Nativity Scenes. End your tour in our "Baby Grand Theater" with a short film for the children.

Design and Decorate your very own tree Oct. 29th-Nov. 21st

Christmas Tree Raffle Nov. 23rd - Yoakum Community Center

Night at the Museum Dec. 5th 6:30-9:30 

Forest Open From November 23rd - January 13th

"The purpose of the Yoakum Heritage Museum is to preserve, conserve and protect the historical past of our community. With the desire that the museum be an instrument of education to further an awareness and appreciation of Yoakum's heritage.

The Yoakum Heritage Museum is located at 312 Simpson in the J.K. Elkins home. The home was built in the early 1900's. Elkins owned a small chain of 5, 10, & 25 cent stores

Hours: Sunday's 1-4, Tuesday's 1-4, Thursday's 1-4, Friday's 10-4 
No admission charge but donations are welcomed."
